# Expert Tips:

01 -
  • The lighter turkey meatballs still deliver incredible comfort without that post dinner food coma feeling
  • Everything comes together in under an hour, making it totally doable for a Tuesday after work
  • The creamy mushroom sauce is one of those things that makes you want to lick the plate clean
02 -
  • When adding sour cream to hot sauce, always lower the heat first or it can separate and curdle on you
  • The meatballs continue cooking a bit in the sauce, so take them out of the oven when they are just cooked through
  • Grating the onion for the meatballs instead of chopping prevents any raw onion chunks in your finished dish
03 -
  • Let your meatballs rest on the baking sheet for a few minutes after baking so they hold their shape better when added to the sauce
  • Taste and season your sauce before adding the meatballs back in, as this is your last chance to adjust the flavors
